(Use the short cut key Command + Space bar) then type in the search bar provided

    • The Command Key (⌘): This is the Mac equivalent of the Ctrl key on a PC. Most common shortcuts like
      Copy (Command + C),
      Paste (Command + V),
      Cut (Command + X),
      Save (Command + S),
      and Undo (Command + Z)
use the Command key instead of Ctrl.
    • The Option Key (⌥): This key often functions like the Alt key on a PC. It's used for special characters, accessing hidden menus, and various application-specific shortcuts.
    • The Control Key (⌃): While PCs heavily rely on Ctrl, the Mac's Control key has more specialized uses. It's often used for right-clicking (Control-click) or for specific application functions.
    • The Delete Key vs. Backspace: Macs have a Delete key that functions like a PC's Backspace (deleting characters to the left). To delete characters to the right (like a PC's Delete key), you'll press Fn + Delete.
    • No Dedicated Alt Key: As mentioned, the Option key serves the role of Alt on a PC.
  • Function Keys (F1-F12): On a Mac, the top row of keys often defaults to media controls (brightness, volume, playback) and special functions. To use them as traditional function keys (F1, F2, etc.), you typically need to press the Fn key simultaneously.
